Mitolo Winery, a renowned winery in South Australia, has consistently achieved astonishing results in RP ratings! Since 2002, its flagship wine has never scored below 95 points for 5 consecutive years. In 2003, it even reached an impressive score of 96-100 points, making it an A-grade winery in Australia. If you are familiar with this winery, you may not be surprised by Mitolo's exceptional performance, as its winemaker is none other than Ben Glaetzer, a rising star in the Australian wine industry. The famous and revered Glaetzer Amon Ra wine is also crafted by him.

Mitolo Winery was established in 1999 by Frank, who has Italian heritage. He aimed to create handcrafted wines full of depth and character. The following year, Frank brought on his friend Ben Glaetzer, and together they embraced three key principles: using the best grapes, employing natural winemaking methods, and utilizing the finest oak barrels, to craft their wines.

The G.A.M. red wine is named after the first initials of the winery owner's three children, Gemma, Alex, and Marco. This naming choice reflects Mitolo's passion for "family" and represents their first wine, which perfectly showcases the rich local style.
