Nervi Conterno

Nervi Conterno is a winery located in Monforte d'Alba in Piedmont, Italy, and is known for producing top-tier Barolo wines. Its most famous wine is "Monfortino," which has made the winery one of the most renowned in the Barolo region and is considered a representative wine of the winery. Many Barolo enthusiasts are familiar with this winery, but the name seems to have changed. This is because the founder of the winery could not find the most accurate name. Some say it is Giacomo Conterno, which is the name that has been seen before and is very familiar, but others say that the true founder is "Giovanni Conterno." Finally, the name was changed to Nervi Conterno when the fourth-generation heir, "Roberto Conterno," purchased 90% of the shares of "Cantine Nervi" in the Gattinara DOCG in 2018, and renamed it to its current name.
