Octomore

Octomore, the heavily peated whisky monster, has introduced a new range called Octomore 11 with four new expressions. The Octomore 11.1 is crafted using 100% Scottish barley fermented and distilled between 2013 and 2014. The spirit is then matured in American bourbon barrels sourced from Jim Beam, Jack Daniel's, and Heaven Hill. The aging process takes place locally on Islay for a remarkable period of five years, adding complexity and depth to the whisky.

At the time of bottling, the Octomore 11.1 has an Alcohol By Volume (ABV) of 59.4%. It is non-chill filtered and non-caramel colored, showcasing the natural characteristics of the whisky. The phenol content of the peat is measured at 139.6 parts per million (ppm). This limited edition release consists of only 30,000 bottles available worldwide. Octomore 11.1 is a powerful and vibrant expression with an incredible array of fruit and floral aromas that captivate the senses.
