Domaine Paquet is located in the southern part of Burgundy, specifically in "Maconnais - Fuisse," which is one of the most well-known appellations in the region. In recent years, it has gained popularity and recognition among white wine enthusiasts and collectors. The estate owns approximately 4 hectares of vineyards in this area, which is considered the best plot in Fuisse. The vines have an average age of around 40 years, and the grapes are carefully hand-harvested. The overall production of the winery is very limited, with only a few tens of thousands of bottles produced.The wines from Domaine Paquet are characterized by their finesse and elegance. They exhibit floral aromas, with a presence of tropical fruits, lemon, and citrus notes. The acidity is well-balanced, and there are hints of creaminess and toasty aromas from the oak. The winery also adjusts the proportion of oak barrel usage, showcasing their flexibility in winemaking. These wines pair exceptionally well with oysters, seafood, and white meats.
