Procera

Procera Gin is considered one of the finest gins in South Africa. It is produced in Nairobi, Kenya. The name "Procera" comes from Juniperus Procera, also known as African juniper, which is native to South Africa. Procera Gin is the world's first gin to use Procera juniper berries, as most gins commonly use Juniper Communis for production. Additionally, Procera Gin incorporates 10 local ingredients, including Madagascar pink pepper and Moroccan iris root. The gin is distilled at an elevation of 1,638 meters on the high plateau of Nairobi, Kenya. It is 100% produced in South Africa.

The production of Procera Gin is led by Roger Jorgensen, known as the "African Craft Distilling Guru." This expertise adds unique flavors to Procera Gin. Compared to other gins, Procera Gin has pronounced nutty and earthy flavors. Its aroma is characterized by floral and citrus notes. On the palate, it offers a refreshing and slightly sweet taste, with a spicy finish that includes pepper and other aromatic spices.
