Procera African Juniper

Procera Gin is considered the finest gin in South Africa. It is produced in Nairobi, Kenya. The name "Procera" is derived from Juniperus Procera, also known as African juniper, which is native to South Africa. Procera Gin is the world's first gin to use Procera juniper berries, as most gins typically use Juniper Communis. It is crafted using ten local ingredients, including Madagascan pink peppercorns and Moroccan orris root, and distilled at an altitude of 1638 meters on the highlands of Nairobi, Kenya.

Procera Gin is 100% produced in South Africa. The production is overseen by Roger Jorgensen, known as the "African Craft Distilling Godfather," adding unique flavors to Procera Gin.

Compared to traditional gins, Procera Gin offers distinct nutty and earthy flavors. It has a predominant floral and citrus aroma, a refreshing and sweet taste upon consumption, and a finish with notes of spices like pepper. The bottle of Procera Gin is hand-blown glass, showcasing its uniqueness. The overall design is minimalistic, with a simple wooden cap and label, devoid of unnecessary patterns. However, its distinctive appearance makes it easily recognizable. Procera Gin has been acclaimed as the world's best craft gin, winning the gold medal at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition in both 2019 and 2020.
