Siro Pacenti

Siro Pacenti is an exceptional winemaker known for producing Brunello di Montalcino wines. The winery's vineyards were acquired in 1970 and are blessed with an excellent geographic location and vibrant clay-rich soils. Currently, the estate spans 22 hectares of vineyards. In 1988, Siro handed the estate over to Giancarlo, who introduced Rosso di Montalcino and Brunello di Montalcino in the same year. Between 2001 and 2004, the winery built its own state-of-the-art cellar, marking a significant step forward in its winemaking journey. The estate expanded further into the southern part of Montalcino, specifically in Piancornello, and its wines have consistently received scores of 95 points or higher from prestigious wine rating organizations.

One of the standout wines from the estate is the Siro Pacenti Vecchie Vigne Brunello di Montalcino, crafted from old vines. This wine exudes complex aromas of walnuts, dark fruits, and dried fruits, along with a notable minerality. It offers a bold yet balanced palate, with silky tannins and an intense finish. This exceptional wine has even achieved a perfect score of 100 points from James Suckling, solidifying its status as a masterpiece.
