Taylor’s

Taylor's, a renowned Portuguese winery, was founded in 1692. Situated in the Douro region, it possesses three Grade A vineyards with distinct terroirs, which contribute to the production of world-class Port wines. With its long history, Taylor's has established expertise in the art of aging and possesses a keen eye for innovation. As early as 1964, they introduced single-vintage Ports to the market.

The fame of Portuguese Port wine, known as "Porto" in Portuguese, stems from a combination of factors, including the historical context of the English-French wars and the challenging geographical conditions of the Douro Valley. Among the Port wine estates, Taylor's, with a history spanning over three centuries, stands out as one of the most renowned. It has even been praised by the esteemed wine critic Robert Parker as the "Chateau Latour" of Port wines.
