Eyrie Vineyards is located in Oregon, United States. It is a relatively young winery founded by David and Diana Lett in 1966. In 1970, they produced their first vintage of wine. Within just five years, Eyrie Vineyards' Pinot Noir wines gained recognition by surpassing the renowned Clos de Beze from Joseph Drouhin in France. Furthermore, in the 1979 Wine Olympics, the winery triumphed over several top Burgundy estates, bringing attention to Oregon Pinot Noir. The annual production of Eyrie Vineyards is approximately 10,000 cases. The wine style differs from the typical New World style, leaning towards elegance, light color, and finesse.
