Theo Dancer Roc Breïa

Theo Dancer, son of the famous Vincent Dancer from Chassagne-Montrachet, founded Theo Dancer winery in 1996. His Chassagne-Montrachet vineyard was the first in Burgundy to receive organic certification, with an average vine age of 40 years. He is known as one of the most talented and gifted winemakers in Burgundy. He also has a son and daughter, Theo and Zoe Dancer, who have both joined the winery. Theo Dancer follows in his father's footsteps to make and learn about wine. Roc Breïa is his own wine brand, and he also sources grapes from wineries in Jura, Rhône, and Savoie. Roc Breïa is located in the Mâconnais region, with a 10-hectare estate. His philosophy is to create simple and delicate things, using 60-year-old Chardonnay and 35-year-old Pinot Noir to make pure and clean wines. His vineyard quickly gained popularity among wine enthusiasts.
