Villadoria was officially established in 1959, but the roots of its winemaking journey trace back even further. Daniele Lanzavecchia began planting the vines as he hailed from an agricultural family. Despite the challenging times, winemaking was his dream. This dream took shape even before the First World War. Daniele Lanzavecchia lived through the war, but life had to go on. In 1920, when Pietro was born, the dream of winemaking was successfully realized. Inspired by his father's winemaking dream, Pietro was determined to work hard to make this dream a reality. With his determination and intelligence, he officially founded Villadoria Winery in 1959.

Today, the estate has matured and stabilized significantly. Every family member works diligently to expand the brand overseas. Their efforts have been recognized by wine critics, solidifying Villadoria as a prominent player in the world of wine.

Having the opportunity to taste the flavor of dreams within their wines is truly remarkable. Despite the ravages of war, the family's unwavering commitment to their dream has paid off. Each drop of their wine embodies the hard work and dedication of the Villadoria family, offering a taste of the authentic flavors of their past vintages.
