Weingut Willi Schaefer

Weingut Willi Schaefer is located in Bemkastel, Mosel, and the Schaefer family has been growing grapes since 1590. They have a particular love for Riesling and are very meticulous in their grape cultivation, mastering its different characteristics. In winemaking, they use manual harvesting, wild yeast, and minimal human intervention. Throughout the process, they pay close attention to balancing the acidity and sweetness, relying solely on their experience and not using any machines. The winery is also a member of the German "VDP", focusing on low yields and high-quality wines. Their wines are known for their full-bodied and sweet floral aromas, with a perfect balance of sweetness and acidity, making them refreshing and appetizing.
