Yangarra Estate is located in McLaren Vale, South Australia. The estate has a rich history, with grape planting dating back as early as 1946. One of its notable features is the presence of old-vine Grenache, with vines that are over 70 years old, which has become a signature of their winery. Yangarra Estate is also known for its commitment to organic and biodynamic farming practices.

Under the leadership of Chief Winemaker Peter Fraser and as part of the Jackson Family Wines portfolio, the estate has seen a significant rise in quality. It has received numerous accolades, including being named in Wine Spectator's Top 100 Wines of the Year in 2001 and 2004, winning Wine & Spirits' Best Winery of the Year in 2005 and 2006, and having Peter Fraser recognized as the Best Winemaker of the Year in the 2015 James Halliday Wine Companion. In 2018, Peter Fraser was also nominated for the Best Winemaker of the Year by Wine Enthusiast magazine in the USA.
