Zenato, one of Italy's top 100 wineries, has a rich history spanning 50 years. It is renowned for producing high-quality Amarone and Valpolicella wines, which have garnered international acclaim and recognition from wine critics. Ripasso della Valpolicella is a winemaking technique where the leftover skins from the production of Amarone and Recioto are added to Valpolicella Classico for a second fermentation. This process imparts additional complexity, tannins, body, and a slightly higher alcohol content to the wine. Ripasso is sometimes referred to as a "baby version" of Amarone, showcasing similar characteristics but with its own unique profile and style.
