Boerl & Kroff

The winery was founded in 1994 by Stephane Sese and Patrick Sabate. In that year, they embarked on an in-depth journey through the Champagne region, visiting various Champagne houses. Inspired by their experiences, they decided to create their own ideal Champagne. When they shared their plans with Michel Drappier, the owner of Champagne Drappier, he immediately offered his strong support. Michel provided them with approximately one hectare of old vineyards and offered technical advice to help them achieve their vision. Thus, Boerl & Kroff was officially born.At the winery, the grapes are not pressed manually after harvest. Instead, the first juice is obtained by using the natural weight of the grapes, allowing gravity to gently extract the juice. Each bottle of Champagne is individually numbered, and the labels are hand-applied using heavyweight parchment paper.
