Charles Heidsieck

The estate was founded in the 18th century and is a Champagne from France that is often described as both serious and humorous in style, showcasing consistent quality without being flashy. It is even referred to as the "Champagne of European royalty" within the Champagne industry. In 1859, it received the first prize cup at the Universal Exhibition, earning recognition and becoming a favorite of Napoleon III.The Charles Heidsieck Brut Millesime 2008 represents the return of a "classic" vintage. The rainfall during the year promoted grape growth without compromising sugar accumulation. Sunshine provided strength and excellent structure to the Pinot Noir, while aiding the Chardonnay in maintaining precision and freshness. The year 2008 is considered one of the finest vintages in Champagne.
