Domaine Henri Delagrange is located in the heart of Volnay in Burgundy, and it stands out as an exceptional estate in this region, spanning seven generations to the present day. The estate began bottling its wines in 1945. The flagship wine is the "Volnay Clos des Chenes," also known as the Oak Tree Enclosure, recognized as one of the best premier cru vineyards in the village. Facing southeast, it produces the finest Pinot Noir in all of Volnay. The estate owns 0.0654 hectares of this vineyard, which is entirely hand-harvested. The wine is aged in barrels for 12 months, with the vines dating back to 1939. With an annual production of only 4,000 bottles, this wine is known for its elegance, finesse, intense floral aromas, and impressive texture, offering excellent value for its quality.

Another wine worth trying from the estate is the Volnay VV, made from 55-year-old vines that are hand-harvested. With a production of 12,000 bottles, this wine offers a charming and sweet bouquet of floral and fruity aromas, delivering exceptional value for its quality, scoring a perfect 100 in terms of cost-effectiveness.
