In 1977, François Lumpp and his brother started planting grapes and making wine. They established their own winery in 1991. François Lumpp and his wife Isabelle jointly operate the winery, which has gradually gained a stellar reputation. Situated in Givry in the Côte Chalonnaise region, it is considered one of the top wineries in the entire Côte Chalonnaise. The estate spans about 9 hectares, mostly planted with Pinot Noir grapes, alongside some Chardonnay. They meticulously select the best soil plots and grape varieties to showcase the finest terroir to Burgundy enthusiasts.

Adopting 100% organic farming practices, François Lumpp refrains from using any chemical fertilizers, herbicides, or artificial additives. This approach encourages the grapes to absorb minerals from the soil, ensuring good ripeness and healthy growth. The grapes are handpicked and destemmed entirely. They rely solely on native yeasts for fermentation, followed by malolactic fermentation. About 70% of new barrels are used for red wine aging, while white wine aging involves approximately 30% new barrels. The winery fully embraces a philosophy of prioritizing natural methods.

The red wines exhibit concentrated red berry flavors, vibrant floral aromas, refreshing herbal notes, and mineral undertones. The white wines are described as juicy and luscious, with notes of white peach, grapefruit, vanilla, floral scents, and mineral nuances.
