Gianfranco Alessandria

Gianfranco Alessandria owns a 7 hectare vineyard located in Monforte d'Alba, Bussia San Giovanni MGA, focusing on growing Nebbiolo, Barbera, and Dolcetto grapes. It is a small family estate and the winemaking story began with Gianfranco's parents, Giuseppe and Vittorina, who strived to create exquisite Italian wines. Their winemaking philosophy is to give the utmost care and respect to each plant with their own hands, ensuring that they are in a healthy state. The grapes are handpicked and aged in small oak barrels. Gianfranco has been cultivating his small parcel of land since he was young, growing grapevines, hazelnuts, and fruits. After Giuseppe passed away, Gianfranco expanded the estate, improved vineyard techniques and introduced new cellar techniques to increase production. He is now passing on his winemaking passion to his daughters, Vittoria and Marta, to continue the legacy.
