Hudelot Noellat

Hudelot-Noëllat was founded in 1960 and is located in the village of Vougeot in Burgundy, France. The former owner, Alain, married the granddaughter of Charles Noëllat, a renowned figure in the village of Vosne-Romanée, and received several vineyards in Vosne-Romanée as a dowry. The estate currently holds three prestigious grand cru vineyards: Richebourg, Romanée St-Vivant, and Clos Vougeot. They also have premier cru vineyards, including Vosne Les Malconsorts, which is often referred to as the "little La Tâche," and Vosne Les Beaux Monts, located adjacent to Echezeaux. In total, the estate owns only 6.6 hectares of vineyards.The estate has been passed down to Alain's grandson, Charles Van Canneyt, who took over the reins. In 2005, winemaker Vincent Munier joined the team. With the experience inherited from previous generations and the innovative winemaking approach of the new generation, these two young and talented winemakers continue to lead this traditional Burgundy estate into the challenges of the new century, showcasing its vibrant and shining colors.
