Laurent Ponsot

Laurent Ponsot, from the prestigious Domaine Ponsot, bid farewell to the family legacy in 2017 to co-create a brand new label with his son Clement. They embarked on a journey of research and development, blending traditional and modern winemaking technologies to address the shortcomings of tradition. While still adhering to natural winemaking practices and prioritizing terroir expression, interventions in both vineyard cultivation and winemaking are minimized. However, post-bottling, advanced technologies are employed to minimize transport-related damage.

The winery's bottling process eschews the use of sulfur dioxide in favor of neutral gases. They seal bottles with the distinctive "Guala" closure by Ponsot and affix temperature-sensing labels and anti-counterfeiting labels. Future developments include the introduction of "super-nano oxidation technology" to replace barrel aging, enhancing flavor retention and ageing potential.

For transport, the winery employs intelligent wooden crates for temperature control, utilizing NFC chips to create NFC Banking that monitors the status of each bottle, recording transport temperatures meticulously. This ensures that every bottle of wine reaches consumers in optimal condition, preserving the perfect terroir without any compromise, and leaving no room for disappointment.
