Pietracupa

Pietracupa was founded by Sabio Loffredo in Avellino, Campania, Italy. Starting in 1993, he began producing wines that were not popular in the market: "Fiano, Greco, Falanghina, and Aglianico." Despite his background as a top athlete, Sabio decided to venture into winemaking, showcasing remarkable talent not only in sports but also in crafting wines, revealing himself as a winemaking genius.

He introduced the lesser-known white wines from Campania to the world, garnering recognition for a region that had not received awards or certifications before 2006. Sabio's efforts paid off when he received acclaim, including Gambero Rosso awards, and a remarkable 98 points from Cupo in 2013. This genius winemaker has truly created a myth for this region, putting Campania on the map for its exceptional wines.
