Robert Parker's Wine Advocate 90
At first, the 2018 Shiraz is supple, flowing and red fruited. But it is a wine of several parts, and through the finish, it shows its herbal, leafy side. Green peppercorns, sap and stalk, with layers of garden mint and licorice. The wine was fermented and then matured in French oak for 18 months (40% new). It is engaging and fresh and, most pleasingly, a little chewy to close. The ripeness through the finish provides a soft landing for the tannins. 14% alcohol.
