Starting Point

The Starting Point is one of the pioneers in the Ningxia wine industry, with its oldest vineyard dating back to 1997. It began cultivating and planting wine grapes in sandy soils.

The winery's Chinese name is composed of two characters: "源" (yuán) and "點" (diǎn). The three dots to the left of "源" symbolize the Yellow River, which is the water source for the vineyards in Ningxia. It has nurtured the region's civilization and culture for thousands of years. The four circular dots at the bottom of "點" represent the majestic Helan Mountains. The Starting Point adopts low-carbon and environmentally friendly vineyard management practices, minimizing human intervention and respecting nature. During the winemaking process, there is minimal addition of any chemicals to the raw materials, and even sulfur dioxide is not added.
