Still in barrel, the 2020 Cabernet Franc is impressive at this youthful stage, with loads of gregarious fruit and aromatic layers. It offers graphite-streaked blueberry and Morello cherry with nuances of garrigue, charcuterie and exotic spices. The palate is pure and layered with incredible detail, a silky, lifted frame and very long finish. This was made entirely from free-run juice and will spend about 30 months in new French oak before being bottled.

Ample black and blue fruits, tobacco leaf, iron, crushed stone, and graphite emerge from the 2020 Cabernet Franc, a rich, medium to full-bodied, beautifully textured Cabernet Franc that has plenty of overall freshness and purity, notable structure, and a great finish.

James Suckling 96
Aromas of currants, plums, violets, chocolate orange, wet stones and sweet spices. Full-bodied with fine tannins. Well-balanced and layered with a velvety texture. Rich and creamy with an attractive core of berries at the center with a spicy chocolate touch to it. Harmonious with a generous and long, long finish with great vitality.
