Glendronach

In the hills of the Scottish Highlands, Glendronach distillery produces some of the finest sherry single malt whiskies with a rich history. Founded by James Allardice in 1826, it has become a revered distillery among whisky enthusiasts. Glendronach is also a crucial component in the blends of Ballantine and Teachers.

The distillery follows traditional principles, employing coal-fired direct heating, wooden fermentation tanks, traditional dunnage warehouses for maturation, and exclusively using sherry casks. They do not chill-filter their whiskies or add caramel coloring before bottling. Glendronach remains committed to the principles of an independent distillery, prioritizing high-quality whisky over quantity.

The combination of these traditional practices and the use of sherry casks results in exceptional whiskies that are highly sought after by whisky connoisseurs.
